Architecture
Strip steel is an indispensable basic material in modern construction industry. With excellent mechanical properties, precise size control, and outstanding corrosion resistance, these two types of materials are widely used in building structures, enclosure systems, interior decoration, and supporting facilities, significantly improving the safety, durability, and aesthetics of buildings.
The application in the field of architecture mainly relies on its high strength, high dimensional accuracy, good surface quality, and strong processability. Various building components are made through processes such as cold bending, hot rolling, and galvanizing.
Main application scenarios in building materials
1. Light steel structure system
Cold rolled galvanized steel strip is the core raw material of light steel keel. Due to the high precision and strength of the steel strip thickness, the resulting keel is lightweight but has strong load-bearing capacity. The galvanized layer ensures long-term corrosion resistance inside the concealed project, avoiding the problems of traditional wooden keels being prone to decay and insect infestation.
2. Building enclosure system (roof and wall)
Cold rolled galvanized sheet is often used as the substrate for roof and wall panels in industrial plants, large venues, and residential buildings.
Roof panels and grilles: directly used as anti-corrosion industrial and civil building roof panels, or as roof grille materials.
Color coated plate substrate: Cold rolled galvanized steel strip is the best material for producing color coated steel plates (color coated plates). Its surface is clean and shiny, which is conducive to paint adhesion. After color coating, it can be made into building exterior wall panels with rich colors and strong weather resistance.
Water blocking board and rain cover: Utilize their good formability and water resistance to produce detailed components such as eaves water blocking board and rain cover.
3. Interior decoration and facilities of buildings
Ceiling and suspended ceiling: Galvanized steel strip is widely used in the manufacture of metal ceilings and ceiling fasteners due to its high flatness and resistance to deformation.
Rolling shutter doors and garage doors: Cold rolled galvanized strip steel, after being rolled and formed, has high strength and wind resistance, and is commonly used in the manufacturing of commercial building rolling shutter doors and household garage doors.
Pipelines and cable trays: used for manufacturing electrical cable trays, ventilation duct casings, and insulation pipe casings. Their smooth inner walls facilitate fluid transport or cable laying, and the external galvanized layer prevents corrosion in humid environments.
4. Other building supporting components
Guardrails and Fences: Used for manufacturing fence posts, warehouse interior and exterior panels, etc., to provide safety protection.
Fasteners and connectors: High strength cold-rolled strip steel can be used to manufacture self tapping screws, anchors, etc. for construction, ensuring the reliability of structural connections.
